About the coffee and the producer from Tanner at Hex:
Done Li Tan is one of the newest members to the Indigo Mountain Co-op, a growing network of native Pa-O producers in the highlands of Shan State, Myanmar. Nestled among the Indigo Mountain range, this village is home to 75 Pa-O farming families who, under the guidance of head Khun Sein Tun, are part of a transformative shift from poppy cultivation toward specialty coffee. This ensures more sustainable and safer futures for the people within the village.This lot, Catuai cherries are hand harvested in the early morning and delivered daily to the village drying station, sorted, and dried slowly over 18-22 days, adjusted for temperature and humidity.
